The Justice League Cast Endorses Rezpect Our Water

Sometimes, celebrities play heroes; other times they are heroes. Several of the cast members of DC’s upcoming Justice League took a break from filming to talk about a cause important to them; Rezpect Our Water, a campaign aimed at stopping construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Ben Affleck (Batman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg) , Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Ezra Miller (The Flash) all appear in the 27 second spot, encouraging viewers to head to Sacredstonecamp.org to get involved with the their efforts.

The Dakota Access Pipeline is being built by a private oil company. The pipeline would cross the Missouri River less than a mile away from the Standing Rock Reservation. Citizens are concerned about the potential damage that could happen should there be any failure in the pipeline.

Though the Justice League can stop Lex Luthor from taking 40 cakes, only you can help impact change by signing the Change.Org petition, because a damaged ecosystem is worse than four tens.

And that’s terrible.

JC didn’t even think about writing a bio until his article was due. What can you say right before a deadline? JC grew up in a small town, and quickly became the resident geek, spewing off random facts about movies, comics and Power Rangers to whoever would listen. Currently residing in Southern Oregon, JC still spends his days doing much of the same (though he has disposable income to buy cosplays and go to conventions). JC recently started collecting Pop Vinyls and his friends and family, concerned at the immovable wall of them, are currently planning an intervention.
